I was introduced to Aromatherapy while attending esthetics school in the mid-1990s. It captured my attention and I knew immediately that I wanted to learn more about it. Throughout the next decade, I dabbled with essential oils, incorporating them into my life with the limited knowledge I had at that time. In 2006, I began learning more on my own and in 2008 I enrolled in the Aromatherapy Certification Program at Aromahead Institute, School of Essential Oil Studies in Sarasota, Florida. Completing this certification, I became a nationally certified Aromatherapist through NAHA (the National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy) in March, 2009. I have also completed a teacher training course taught by Andrea Butje, an engaging and passionate educator, at Aromahead Institute.
